New Year update includes significant content updates including new 6-star skill sets, costumes, and UI improvements. Headlining the update is the addition of fan-favorite superhero, Totally Awesome Hulk, also known as Amadeus Cho. In addition to the thrilling inclusion of the Totally Awesome Hulk, players will celebrate the exciting release of five new character uniforms, 6-star skills, and significant UI and content improvements, including new stages and game battles.
Fans will love the unique, new character uniforms available for Hulk (World War Hulk), Angela, Drax, Rocket Raccoons, and Loki (Lady Loki). Six characters have received 6-star skills in the update, including Hulk, Red Hulk, Hulkbuster (Iron Man Mark 44), Star-Lord, Drax, and Captain Marvel. Additionally, Hulk, Maestro Hulk, Red Hulk, Hulkbuster (Iron Man Mark 44), and Drax, have received character balance improvements in the new update.

Game play updates to MARVEL Future Fight include:
- Villain Siege: Update includes new stages; Loki, Ultron, and Yellow Jacket. Additionally, players will receive awards when using recommended heroes to clear the stage.
- Co-Op Play: Updates to Team Effects and Leader Skills, as well as Automatic Matching to pair similar character level and skills.
MARVEL Future Fight will also offer the following UI enhancements:
- The UI for EXP Chips have been enhanced to allow players to use all of the chips at once.
- Battle mechanics have also been updated to allow users to tap on Skill Button or Attack Button; auto targeting is initiated and moves to the portal.
Famed Marvel Comics writer Peter David took part in the creation of MARVEL Future Fight, which features nearly 70 playable characters including Ant-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man, Daredevil and Super Heroes from Guardians of the Galaxy and Secret Wars.
